The medical community is finally realizing the uterus is more than a ‘baby house’

Uterus plays a role in brain function, animal study shows

The uterus plays a role in memory, study finds

That’s literally your view ??? Read the first sentence again !!!

siberiannette

also even if these didn’t serve other functions, how is getting unnecessary cosmetic surgery “healthier” than not getting it? even if you didn’t need your uterus or breasts, why are we treating our bodies like ms potato head dolls??

The ovaries are the hormone regulation organs right? Menstruating is very important to women’s health and psyche.

I hate feminism but they are right about how removing organs is bad.

peaches-and-poison

the pituitary gland controls most of them, but yes, the ovaries control some hormones as well

The fact that saying, “Don’t remove perfectly healthy and critical internal organs” is now considered controversial, is just so ridiculous.

“Abortion is good, because every child should be a wanted child.”

There is something malicious behind this seemingly benevolent reasoning. Every child should be received with love. But in an ableist society, a wanted child is an able child. In a white supremacist society, a wanted child is a white child. In a sexist society, a wanted child is a boy. Wanted children are children who don’t cry too much, who aren’t neurodivergent or high needs or sensitive or emotional. Quiet, play nicely, don’t complain. Normal children who appeal to the dominant ideology are “the good ones.”

Abortion might make every born child a wanted child. But in so doing, it eliminates the “undesirables”. When we start to categorize human beings as “wanted” or not, based on anything at all, and then decide to “keep” them or throw them away based on this, that is a sign we are already living in a deeply prejudiced and eugenicist society. Abortion enables and facilitates this.

Every child should be wanted — including the unwanted.

Do you ever feel like you don't matter? I think all of us do sometimes. But here's something to keep in mind:

-There was a girl in elementary school who stood up for me when others made fun of my nervous habits. We haven't talked in years. I think about her all the time.

-A kid I didn't know who found me crying and hugged me made me to decide to stay alive for another night, even though we're complete strangers.

-There's a girl at my new school who probably just thinks that we're acquaintances, but she smiled at me on my first day, and for that, I will be forever grateful to her.

-There was a boy in my english class a few years back who was always quiet and withdrawn. I always hoped that he was okay and that he would reach out if he needed anything, and that made me realize it was okay for me to ask for help too.

My point? There are people in your life who think about you and care about you more than you ever know - you might not be aware of them. I'm thinking of you and sending love your way. You matter, and the world is better with you in it.

faeriefully

if a Christian ever complains or asks why we should love our enemies— what good reason is there for loving someone who would willingly do you harm?

Because it’s what God did.

We tend to forget. Sinful man hates God.

We willingly killed Christ. But it wasn’t a surprise to Jesus. The Lord of heaven and earth willingly came down to a people who hated Him, and He did the most loving thing that has ever been done. He died for them. He took their judgement for them, and He gave everything righteous of Himself to a people who despised Him.

He chose us. He loved us first.

Love your neighbors. Love your enemies.
